Best gift EVER..... When a friend contacted me to see if she could schedule a session for family photos, and that she wanted to include her parents in the photos, my heart was so incredibly full, and happy, and I just thought it was such an amazing idea, and would make such a fantastic gift for her parents.... but, not just for them... I truly know that photos are a gift that keep on giving. A snapshot of a moment long gone, a direct connection to a memory, and a feeling... a reminder of family, of love, of happiness. I am truly honored to have had the opportunity to take your family's portraits.

Beauty is everywhere. My passion is to capture that beauty; to document it for generations to come. As a mom, I know how quickly families change and grow, and I understand how important photographs are as part of a family legacy. I also understand how important it is to exist in photos; as a woman i know how difficult it can be to get in front of the camera, and as a photographer I know how important it is to get in front of that camera. I use my own understanding of being on both sides to make you feel comfortable and beautiful. My goal is always to capture an image of you that makes you feel as beautiful as everyone else sees you. I picked up my first camera around the age of twelve, and often times spent entire afternoons with my brother and sister, setting up "photo shoots" just for fun. I didn't get serious about photography until I had my first son in 2001. Self taught, I have learned hard lessons, but have always looked at each shot as a chance to grow and learn. I will always be learning and growing.
